Ted Calvert has been a resident of Healdsburg since 1980. Calvert raised his two boys, Christopher and Paco, in Healdsburg,  considered then a farm town, or prune town to native residents, but a great place to grow a family. He has seven grandchildren.

Calvert is a retired engineer and technical laboratory manager for AT&T. He has served as a trustee for the Healdsburg Unified School District (Go Greyhounds!); President of the Healdsburg Boys & Girls Club (HBGC); Building Fund Chairman of the HBGC Clubhouse, still standing strong and completed with the generous community support and in-kind donations.

Calvert is currently on the Healdsburg Rotary Club board; vice president of the Healdsburg Museum and Historical Society board of directors, and a member of the Healdsburg Men’s Golf Club at Tayman Park. While Calvert enjoys world travel, he relishes coming home to the Sonoma County lifestyle, in all its seasons.
